The VPLEX245 3200Lm XGA Portable Projector by Sony is a 3200 lumen XGA projector, suitable for the classroom or boardroom. It features a high contrast ratio of 3000:1, three inorganic BrightEra LCD panels and a flexible 1.6x manual zoom/manual focus lens. It can project to screens from 30" to 300".It also features three mini D-sub 15 pin connectors, USB and HDMI inputs, LAN Ethernet capability, and a 16W speaker. The numerous ECO modes for energy conscious consumers include an auto power saving mode, lamp dimming, and 4 lamp modes (high, standard, low, and auto). The Auto Mode is controlled by picture brightness.The projector displays a native 1024 x 768 resolution, but the video signal is capable of displaying up to 1080/60p and 1080/60i resolutions. And the maximum display resolution for a computer signal input is UXGA 1600 x 1200. It also utilizes NTSC, PAL and SECAM color systems.Another feature of the VPLEX245 is a synchronized lamp and filter maintenance cycle. The lamp is rated for 7000 hours in low mode, and the filter cleaning cycle is also rated at 7000 hours, so you can replace both at the same time.

The projector features a bright 3700 lumen brightness, and three (high, standard, and low) modes.

Inorganic LCD Technology
The VPLEX275 features three BrightEra 0.63" inorganic LCD panels for enhanced picture quality and better contrast.

ECO Modes
A variety of energy-saving modes include ECO Gauge, ECO Picture Mute, ECO Lamp Dimming and 4 lamp modes (high, standard, low, and auto). The Auto lamp mode is controlled by picture brightness.

Connection Options
The projector features a host of connection I/O options, including HDMI, RJ-45 Lan Ethernet, USB, S-Video and 3x Mini D-Sub 15-pin connectors.
